Don’t tell Delilah, the dog as she considers herself a ranch dog. So, we’ll keep stewing on that name for our farm.

Don’t judge a house by its crappy vinyl siding
In the Cache Valley, it’s hard to find a house with land. This was a unique piece of property but it ain’t pretty. We have grand plans down the road. When we move in permanently in July 2021, we will hire an architect or engineer to tell us if the house is worth remodeling or if we should start over. For now it’s liveable.

This is the front room, the first room you walk into. It’s quirky. That wall has to come down but right now it has electricity in it which takes more work. I would like this to be all open one day. They left us that couch too. ©missykuester.com

This is the office. When you come in the front door, you turn right into this room. Then through this room is another bedroom. The main bath is off this room too. One day I would like to switch the kitchen and bath and make this room an eat in kitchen area…again, maybe. ©missykuester.com
This is the main floor bedroom. It’s a weird little room in which you step down into it. Those are closets. According to legend. The man who moved the house, wanted the roofline a certain way hence why the step down. Again, we will reconfigure this one day. ©missykuester.com

This house has a lot of quirks it goes without saying. These are the original stairs. At one time, a long time ago, the house was two homes, one up, one down. Anyway, we may open this up and actually divert the stairs back out through this room. Until then this is a closet. ©missykuester.com
Like every good Utah family, we have a good size pantry. It’s not pretty and it’s across the house from the kitchen. It’s more than I have in my house in WA. One day the kitchen may be here. It’s dry and functional. ©missykuester.com

At one point the sellers raised the upstairs. The wood floor is where the original room stopped. The took down the wall into what was the attic, hence the different flooring. Under the rug is dry storage. ©missykuester.com
